Thinking of buying a mark 3 golf gti 2.0 8v to replace my corsa sport. Anybody know much about them? Anything to look out for? Anybody suggest a good insurer, they're group 14 and I'm 20, 3 years no claims, decent postcode. Thanks.
Like the look of this colour concept model -

Anyone suggest a good alternative looking at spending about 2.5k max. and don't fancy another corsa! Thanks.

Realistically I should be able to get fully comp for under a grand shouldnt I?

Directline wouldn't quote me. Ridiculous i'm paying £400 on my corsa sport, the golfs marginally quicker and best quote is 3 times my current policy!
