Is very hit and miss as well, bloke at work had it done, now basically blind in 1 eye... uncle had it done an it was fine :S

I'm seriously considering having it done, Mum, Dad and Brother have all had it done and say that during the op you can't feel a single thing and depending on if you have Lasic or Lasac (depending on how bad your eyes are) the recovery time can be as low as a few hours.
Other people I know that have had it done say it's the best money they have ever spent.

Oh and as for contact lenses? I tried them once, my eyes have never watered so much in all my life - stuff that!

I think if u did more digging you would see the many many case sof it going wrong, such as blokeyt i work with, altho as i said my uncle had it done np's

I work at a hospital pharmacy and have been to the departments where they carry it out. its not suposed to be painfull although it is done whilst you are consious. Plus as far as i am aware the sucsess rate is very good. although the disclaimer you have to sign is a bit off putting .
