Ill try pressing mine when its back from the bodyshop. It does disply service somewhere but didnt think that showed up until its due

No and vauxhall tech don't even know  When i got my car the first day I found these weird numbers, they are not in the manual, dealer doesn't know and when asked tech support they had no idea either

Tried the same thing with mine today, got the same showing on dash, 36.1 and then another longish number underneath.
Wonder what it could be??

On mine when you hold the button down, it comes up with 'SP' then a number. The number is the distance you can travel before the service is up. This number is different for each car depending on how you drive it obviously.
The traction control was standard on the 1.8 SRi until the 2004 facelift when it became a optional extra. I think.

Are you doing it with the engine running? With the engine off, it shows how far till next service, but with it running i get 36.1 and 27???, and the number doesnt seem to change?

The 36.1 figure could be consumption - combined figure is supposed to be about 36mpg.
No idea about the 27 though...

they lose alot of money in the 1st year though.there is a 05 plate in ultra blue with climate at my local dealers for £7500 nice buy if you wanted a secondhand one

i thought i had quite a good buy with mine
1800 sri
28k miles,fvsh,mint condition,new tyres all round,12 months tax and mot,all extra,tc,air con,cd,ew, etc £5000 from vauxhall with a years warrenty.
