j30 of m1 to meet corsa808 today in my mrs 1.6 16v corsa lovely car but gee was i glad to get back in my xe corsa earlier i cant believe i used to think hers was quick engines feel so restricted and boggy in standard form
c20xe breaths so much better in standard trim pulls so smooth compared to x16xe i guess it because x16xe is quite restricted on intake but no good really is it lol
well that was my ramble lol its just i ent bin far in her car for while so 4got what it was like when i had 1600 in my car

Think how I feel driving my 1.4 8v daily & then hopping into mine
Better that way though, makes you appreciate how much faster & much better the handling is. Plus the gear changes are differant , feels more fun changing gear. (sounds odd I know!)

j-me u just showed exactly what i meant in my second post, and how many ppl post similar things, it was a observation about x16xe's compared to c20xe's in standard trim
which could be useful info for som1 planning the x16/20xe conversion

I remember going for a ride in my mates C20XE Astra after being drivien about in Steve's LET... I was dissapointed at how slow it felt 
Luckily, when I got in the driving seat of my 2.0 I was a bit more impressed....

i also know how it feels, getting out my car and into my misses 1.3 8v fiesta. however the fiesta is great, its comfy, starts with no issues, and does a million miles to a tank of fuel....
