Well had my 2 new tyres fitted monday and although i know its best to keep the better tyres on the rear, the other 2 arnt that bad and i want them to wear evenly so i swapped the front and back round!
whilst i was there i decided to clean inside all the arches:
only got pics of the rear arches as its in the garage and awkward to get to, the fronts are slightly dirtier as they didnt come out aswell and by the time i had done the rears i was abit bored and tierd!
Today i planned to polish the whole car and windows and black bits etc but due to the dodgy weather i didnt wanna get the car out the garage so i jacked it up and gave it abit more of a clean
But i really want to get it alot cleaner underneath, not concours standard but abit better than it is, what do people suggest:

Get some fresh black underseal under there, will bring it up well...

whats that ash? never heard of it?
is it im guessing a coat thing something you put on after its clean?
i wanna know how to get it clean in the first place!

get under it and get a jet wash on it, or steam cleaner, then blast it..... used ot do it to lories before they went for plating, hell of a job but they used to come out very very clean.

hmmmmmm dont have a jet wash or steamer
maybe i could purchase a cheap jobby form B&Q or somewhere!
is it ok to just paint over like the rear beam in like caliper paint or similar or is it better to get tehm treated and done by a pro?

I started doing this to the corsa not long before it went, had it up on jacks for hours on end just trying to clena one part!
But its because i HAVE to do something, i dont miss having a modded car but i really miss doing stuff to it, as i used to do everything i could or id have a go, so now im abit bored so this is hopefully gonna keep me busy!

get a cheap steam cleaner and steam clean under the car then get some hammerite with added waxoil and paint away. for the rear beam just use hammerite if you want it to look funfy

well it aint standard now!
came with irmy grille, dumpvalve and zorst
ive added smoked side repeaters and rear lights and springs!
a few more mods planned but not to many noticable ones!
This is under the car, i plan on doing the engine bay aswell, but with a few extras there

i just wanna paint as much as i can so then its easy to keep clean!
what about surface rust, is it ok to just wire brush it maybe treat it and then paint over?

just wire bush it off yes then wipe it with white spirits of something and paint our it with hammerite. if you want it looking smoother you could mask it up and get some spray hammerite

Just use glossy hammerite with a decent brush on the rear beam etc then underseal it with waxyoil which is basically like tar that you put on the underside to stop it rotting. Could even push yourself to paint the rear wheel well with some 2pac paint

i did all the stuff u didnt do to my car today then it hailed it down was soo pissed off, well it looks a lot better now, also fitted my new side repeaters, saturdays jobs r fit new depo headlights, coilovers fitted finally and swap my clear rears for standard and flog them

Mav cleaned the exhaust with autosol metal polish i think it is!
I think il wait for the better weather to get really stuck into it!
but i like the hammerite route as not to involved!
with waxoil does it dry? i mean can you like wash the dirt off it easily with a hose and sponge etc?
