Anyone can operate a car, yes. Driving is an entirely different matter. it seems however you are aware of the mr2 propensity for murder!

Mike you tend to find the people who make 'hair dresser' comment have never been in an MR2 nor have they ever owned another car.
oh come on.... the N/A model is EXTEREMELY "hair dresser!"
160bhp isnt slow. does over 140mph. Faster than an XE corsa.
Much faster than your celica.
Rev 3 was 178bhp...

I've had a Rev3 MR2 turbo for nearly 3 years. The back end is not as lively as people make out, people who crash them have pushed too far, you could do that in any car.
A rev3 goes from 0-60 in 5.27s and on to 162mph. No standard calibra will catch it. ever. And mines only ever needed standard servicing, anyone who questions the reliability of an MR2 needs their head tested.

It wasnt. It was 173 but with less torque.
Rev 1 and 2 are quicker N/A than rev 3,4 and 5 apart from the BEAMS engine.
