Sensible words but if it does go off you sounds like u got it covered anyway

Im going to arrange a seating plan so i can work out my strategy

No in all seriousness, hurting my brother and uncle is the last thing i want to do. I just want them to talk it through like adults. But i will protect my dad, whatever they feel the need to do.

My brother is involved with some very serious people, so even after tonight, its in the back of my dads mind that something will happen to him.

That then makes your brother a lesser person, its between HIS dad and mum, and keeping the peace is the only possible way!
Ive been through it and by keeping the peace my family both sides remain friends still.

That's a sad place to be...thinking your son might get some serious heads onto you maybe you should have a word with your brother beforehand, make him realise your uncle is being hot headed and not helping anyone and the fact you'll rip his head off if you're forced to

Well i only found out not so long ago that my brother actually has a different dad. But my dad has raised him since he was a baby and has always treated him as his own.
My brothers been really harsh through all this, saying things like we're nothing to him, he only cares for his blood etc

Sounds like a right mess Craig. End of the day he is your dad and as long as he hasn't done somthing truely awful you are right to stand by him.

My brother and uncle are drinking buddies so if i say something to one, the other will find out. Im not one to make idle threats anyway, i know in my own mind what im capable of, and thats all that matters. People talk too much. If you're going to do something, just do it.

Sounds like your brother and your uncle have made their minds up about how they want the evening to go. You seemed pretty clued up about how they will handle it.
Your dad is your dad, blood or not, whoever has raised you and cared for you is the one that counts which im sure your brother knows deep down.

Everything seems very emotionally fueled right now but you need to try and possibly sit your mum down and get her to see things clearly instead of how she has been made to see things.

Fair play, just thought it may be worth trying to give his a head a wobble not in the presence of his uncle who obviously influences him.

Let us know how it goes craig

Although i hope to god that i don't have to open a can of Whoop-Ass, in a wierd kind of way im actually excited.
I have the warm, glowing sensation flowing through my blood just like i get when im on the doors and have to jump into a group of men smashing each other up with bottles, or when im at court and have to forcefully re-locate a prisoner who shoots and murders people for fun. It's only natural, suppose my body is working on instincts.

If you're wanting to avoid trouble there is only one person you can talk to at this stage and that's your mum. Explain to her how you feel tonight will go off and as a consequence make things a whole lot worse (for everybody). The best thing for you all, would be if tonight doesn't happen at all, not for a while anyway.

At this stage my mum is the worst person to talk to. My brother and uncle are giving her lots of attention and have influenced her, so she's anti everyone else at present.
It's happening, so i'll just have to try to make the best out of a bad situation.
