Hi all, first post and a rather silly question.

Recently bought a corsa sxi, love it. Anywho; the key has a red LED that comes on when I press the button. I can't remember it doing this before but maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

Does the red light just mean a button has been pressed or does it indicate low battery?

Thanks in advance.

Ok but there was no user handbook with the car. The car was incredibly cheap for its mileage, etc, so I wasn't too bothered.

Perhaps, vauxhall have handbooks online? If not, anyone with one of these keys wish to shed any light?

"The light-emitting diode (LED) in the
remote control unit lights up and the
hazard warning lamps flash briefly to show
that the remote control is operational."

The manuals are online. Cheers.
