Everyone foreign wants to live here as they get benefits. All the proper hard working Brits don't as all we get is robbed from the taxman.

Yeah you need money - you need to show you can fund yourself, I think £2k is what my mate took with him for a year then worked his way round - if someone really wants to do something then they'll save £2k to do it though. Its a case of how bad do you want something....

They can be funny if you have a criminal record yeah, they can pull things up on your visa application.

Englands had its glory now - for me its just empty. I love the countryside but the red tape, spineless government and generally unpleasant climate has sealed its own fate for me.

No, the majority or foreigns come over here to get a better life, hence why alot of them are willing to work casual for pennies, example - the foreign people who were working on the beach and some of them got swept away - yeah, they were working for fuck all mate
there are some who come over with degree's, but they are not alowed to work for one reason or another
there are people at my college, call them foreigners, imigrants, whatever, some dont speak english, but theyre doing some of the highest wualifications in the college because there is the ones who want to be able to work

please, dont tar everyone with the same brush

not to mention the people from britain who dont want to work because they can claim more on benefits, and the people who cheat the system whilst working, but how often do you see people accusing them of ruining a country - all i see is imigrants and foreigners getting the blame

sorry for the rant people

Its ironic that a thread about someone leaving the UK should contain complaints about the people arriving.

I'm sure the Aussies could have an equivalent thread moaning about how those pesky Brits keep coming over for better weather and more surfing.

I know its not Bens primary reason for going, but saying that you're going to live abroad because of immigration is like saying you're going to eat some cake to complain about obesity.

Im going for a life expanding experience in all aspects - the problems in this country will never get better so whats out of my hands is just that - I can only improve on what I have.

NZ's climate is very similar to ours - they get a constant wind from the west though because there in the roaring 40's (latitude).
