It's not silver...

But yes it is an RS6,

I read somewhere it's just the aluminum which has been highly polished

It's all been pilished up. As Audi's are made from aluminum that finish can be sorted pretty easily, it's then been varnished over to preven it from scratching easily. The bumpers have been painted with a chrome effect paint/chemical (much like the badge on the grill e.t.c..) as they are plastic.

But it isn't though. It's been polished. If I still had the newspaper article about it I could show you. Audis are aluminium meaning that if you polish them they go shiney.
