I got my 1.6 Sport just before xmas.
S reg, 98 model.
Fitted my old SXi wheels to it as I am at Uni at the moment and the standard alloys have a bald tyre and my Dad is waiting for a new tyre to turn up to get it fitted! However, I quite like the new wheels on it, what do you guys think?
by the way, these pics were just from driving in the local car park to my uni:

And then these were after I cleaned it in my Uni flat car park this afternoon:

what do people think, and any ideas what to do next?
I am thinking Team Dynamics ProRace 1.2 alloys in 15's, a 40mm drop, maybe a new exhaust and a slatted grille?

Yea, thats what I was thinking.
Although the tyres are slightly wrong profile, 185/55/15, so I'm not sure how it will be lowered, if it will rub or not.
Also, Munchie, I don't want to debadge, as I want to be able to put it back to standard when I sell it, completely back to standard.

I've got the same problem but ive got a tyre thats on the legal limit so tommorow will be spent taking the alloys off and putting steelies back on till i can afford 4 195/45/15 tyres
After that, ill fit the lowering springs ive got - gonna take a while but i think itll be worth it

well I think my passenger rear shock is going, but I will check tomorrow. If it is, its a perfect excuse to get a full 40mm kit!
Oh, and plus I have a Pioneer DEH-P7700MP:

A FLI Active 12" Sub, and a JBL 75.2 powering a pair of Infinity 6500CS components, with the crossovers mounted as below:

Yea, sounds good, but when I get the chance I need to take the doorcards back off again to move the connector on the crossover to reduce the tweeter by 3dB.
then just have a fiddle to sort it all out, get powers correct and stuff.
Then that is as much as the sounds go!
