just wanted to know what you think of the following,iam about to buy a 2ltr corsa gsi"ive always wanted one of these" and have currently a 2005 civic type r just wanted to know what the performance will be like compaired to one another, and no iam not a boy racer iam old school but love that 2ltr 16v engine

quicker than 200bhp civic thats tastefully modded running about 220

They're pretty evenly matched but the corsa will feel quicker specially in higher gear due to the torque of the XE, plus you wont have the need to change down a gear everytime you put your foot down, top end the civic will have the advantage but only just

The CTR is a fair bit quicker accelerating, bit higher top speed aswell. It also corners better

But, for the price of a C20XE Corsa, not much can beat it and no turbos to go bang either
