I can't believe you payed £150 just for discs and pads, would'nt even cost that much to get standard items replaced at a garage. You've still gota fit it all, definatly get it all taken back and get a Cav or Cally set-up. Dont worry about them being second hand, my brakes are off a J-reg Cav SRI and they have been spot on.

no, they dont give out gold dust, they just stop the car when i want and where i want whenever i want, alot better than many standard or uprated stuff does.....

ferodo ds2500 pads, they are good, they dont worry about trying to cut down on brake dust..... they just work and they work all the time, big big fav with all the track day and alot of race cars....

ok, that was a lie, but still they were £90 i think, very highly rated and work wonders, have had standard v6 pads, greenstuff (POOP) and these and these kick bottom!

best pads are mintex 1144's (or whatever they are called). thats my opinion anyway.

never tried the mintex ones, was going to but the company i got my pads off said that these worked alot better from cold...
