decided to take some time today and clean up my engine bay some what, its been neglected lately, needs more time still but least i made a start....

Before:

During:

As it is now:

didn't do much really but it took time, moved some wiring that used to run over the rocker cover, wanted to move it inside the wing but that was too much effort so i move it out the way, under the slam panel and then to the 'stat, then i started to clean my the cam cover again and re-tied the loom to look a little better. need to do the passenger side now, and remove the sound deadening, then ill get the air filter back on which will make it look even better IMO!

just wondered cos quite often TB'd cars dont seem to have filters on but presumably its the same as me taking my air box off? Which isn't good. Or is it not as big a issue on an engine with TB's?

how the wires are held to the inner wing lol:

bit pikie but works and dont look to bad, i just trapped the cable tie between the wing skins lol! will remove wing properly when i get time and hide the wiring totally....

and my linkage that is slung under the bodies, the red wire is a tempory fix for my alternator to work properly, will be sorting that out on friday all being well so is wont look so funky and red/orange!

Looking good! any chance of routing the wiring through the bulkhead instead of over the turret?

would look a lot neater.. although i can imagine their is a few wires

dean could be done where the battery wire goes thru, but that would be a hell of a job for me to do! lots of wires all cut to length..... i dont really wantto go playing with a nomex loom, id ruin it lol!
