Right, The post came on friday and a parcel wouldnt fit threw the letter box so it was taken back to the depot. Go there today and they cant find it anywhere.

What can i do?

edit: They rang back today saying someone has collected it on saturday! and its not like anyone else would no the package was waiting and my surname is a bit uncommon!

where do i stand? they posted a thing threw the letter box saying i had a parcel to collect- go there they cant find it- ring up saying someone has colected.

If its insured you claim

If its not u ask them to check, double check, and check at the other local depos, if its still not there then its either vanished or is still on the van

all parcels are insured up to a value of £30

if the good are worth more then its up to u to pay for insurance

it was £15 worth but thats still a bit of money

wishfull thinking there Edd but it could go tit's up if i did that, when they ask to see a recipet and things and only relise its £15.

the recipets are via email quick change here and there

surely its there duty to check the person picking your parcel up is actually you, by taking I.D or something seems canny shoot any one can just pick a parcel up.

get your own back just walk in and say i have some parcels to collect, see what they offer you?

Chances are they have given your parcel out to someone else on accident.

They dont check ID unless its recorded etc

If you claim they will want a receipt for the value of the item although this can always be made up.
