Well, i'm not too sure what to say about this really, a new genre which is sweeping America, Germany and Holland apparently.

The genre is called 'Extra Tone', and is a stupidy fast 1500, yes, 1500 BPM. Bear in mind, Hardcore/DnB is 180 bpm, and Speedcore is 350-500 BPM. You get the idea as to how manic this sh*t is lol.

I cant see how you can dance to this at all, so i can only imagine you take a load of mind bending drugs, find somewhere to sit, and see what happens.

Check the Audio here, if you dare lol.

Skip the first track, that doesn't have beats at all, choose one of the others

when me and my mate were in amsterdam we ended up in a club full of skinheads which played music like that, just tried some mushrooms and after smoking all day it put us into a bit of a trance. it got even more interesting when it was my turn to skin up and the weed started to expand and float away from the table, i can safely say it is the scariest type of 'ddance music ive ever heard

nothing new about this tbh - stuff like this has been going since the 1930s, with composers like boulez (founder of IRCAM in france), schaeffer, varese, john cage etc

If you really want some weird stuff then look into tracks by Otomo Yoshihide - he djs using milk bottle tops!

Also Glitch music, Clicks'n'Cuts is the newish thing thats coming out of canada/states and europe - Kim Cascone, record labels like Mille Plateaux etc

And its a bit narrow minded saying it is "shit", "noise" etc, What is music at the end of the day apart from sound (and fixed length i suppose)? Look at John Cages - 4'33, it wasn't just pure silence
