Anybody know where I can find the rules relating to parking tickets. I got one for being on a single yellow line, I thought you were allowed to park on them for x amount of minutes etc. Thanks.

Usually a sign near them that says when you can't park there.

need to check sing where ou got ticket, usually a restirction like not between 8am-6pm or similar

are they not to do within certain times?
like no parking between 6am - 6pm

yer but i thought you could still park for a certain amonunt of time. Because with double yellows, you can park on them for up to 20minutes if you're unloading. Anybody know a website with the regulations on?

You have a ticket for £30, not worth the hassle.
Might as well pay it, as if the warden knew that you could park there you wouldn't get one.
I tried to contest one a few weeks back for the exact same reason......
got nowhere.
