Parents are getting rid of their T reg vectra, im looking to swap some parts with my corsa before they trade it in!!! (getting a pug 306 )

I want to swap the ash trays round as mine does not work (ciggarette lighter and is broken, will this work in mine? i.e same connections?

Parents have just spent 250+ on a new alternator, can this go onto mine?
