cheers guys, bad comments dont worry me your always going to get them.... Before i started this projects i had never done any body work what so ever so its been a steep learning curve. Very rewarding though and i would suggest that everyone has a go at some point if possible.
Yeah dont worry i am spacing the wheels as much as poss without being stupid, untill i can osrt out some bigger hubs maybe and get wider wheels. Im gutted i didnt cut the arches before i moulded in the rear arches for bigger wider wheels, i never though on.
COmments accepted on the bonnet vent, i am going to change this i think, not sure what for, it doesnt look right standard, also wouldnt mind DTM cup mirrors instead, more subtle. But what you gona do when you get offered stuff for cheap.....grab it with both hands.
ANyway, ill keep you posted and thatnks for the comments, but not the bad ones

Just ignore the comments made those who decide your car aint good enough, because it is. Just clearly not to there tastes. Everyone has a different opinion on what bodykit or body mods they like/prefer. But at the end of the day this post is mainly conserned with the apreciation that you have done all the work yourself.
But if you ask me, as long as it is done right, the prowler kit can look awesome
boyracer2002's car anyone?

spot on - totally agree
boyracer2002's car is awesome and so will this be with the right paint job
perhaps a candy would suit - just an idea but for doing it yourself and doing an excellent job

I think you should leave it like that visually, but fit F1 wheels, turn the engine bay into an avgas tank, fit some huge air intakes in the 1/4 window apertures, loose the tailgate and pop a gas turbine lump in the boot area for some afterburner games

Hats off to you for having a go yourself mate
Not my taste, but then if we all liked the same thing all the cars would look the same wouldnt they!!
Black does show any blemishes in the bodywork thouhg so be carefull of that, a nice wild colour would really suit it.
Nice burnt orange or kandy red colour

Looks good mate! I tried to do some of the bodywork on my own prowler kit when it was fitted, but gave up in the end. Hats of to you for doing it all by your self!
However the mesh will need replacement once the car is sprayed!
I do agree that black would be a bad choice of colour! Something light and colourfull wuit suit it much better imo!

grenoside matey, near hillsbrough. Ive been thinking about the colour for a long time, i think black will be good if its done right. A bright, wild colour will make the car stand out too much i think, although again if its the rihgt colour it will look nice. Anyone want to post some pics of cars with nice colours and the name of the paint that you think will suit.
Also was going to go for a tan retrim inside to complement the black exterior........suggestions welcome.

would just look like a big mass of car if you get it sprayed black. Wont accentuate the 'lines' of the car at all. Doesnt have to be bright or wild either.

motivation is definatley the hardest thing to deal with when you do your own car, as theres no one to he;lp you, im always doing it on my own. These last few touches have been the hardest though, not even considering doing the exhaust, moving the petrol filler (behind the rear light cluster) and other things. Just trying to remove little imperfections, very time consuming.
Grrrr, i dont know what to do with the colour now.
