i would say its worth it mate- im not entirely sure how much it costs (prob around the region of about £70) 
i love the effect, not everyone does it- and like you said, its functional too

I've got a new black Nova GSi dash for the Nova that I'm having flocked, place in Suffolk doing it as soon as I go up there next time.

looking at 150-200 for a full dash, does look alot good, best have a black dash to get flocked so when bits come off it wont stand out so much....
