its the yanks thinking bigger is always better, but the tuning potential for those engines is massive and we all ready have 5.0l v10s and 4.0/4.2 v8s etc over here anyway

The only reason they are so tunable is because they are so under engineered. There is so much room for improvement on them as they don't give a shit about emisions. They just care about the number on thier trunk lid.
