on my corsa i had a snapp off steering wheel, but on the bmw its impossible without loosing the controlls and airbag
im thinking a disklok is the best, fully covers wheel, looks the business and can be hard to remove
any other contrptions to stop the kids getting a free ride home? I know it wont put off the more advanced car thieves but at the end of the day if they want the car they will take it nomatter what!
cheers

yeah get a disklok, dont get those crappy ones that are just a bar that lock around your wheel. i got mine off without a key in less than two mins ( i locked it then realised the key was at home, and i was sat in the town centre trying to get my steering lock off )

disclok is about as good as your going to get, other than a wheel clamp aswell?
Or a rottweiler on the front seat might help?!

yeah i was watching men and motors on a new zealand car thief the other day, was well funny, he was an ex thief who was showing people how to steal cars and how to prevent it, it showed one of those steering lock bars, he removed it in 30 seconds by cutting the steering wheel with a hack saw!
oh yeah the really funny bit was at the end of the prgram where the guy had his own car stolen. PMSL.

Thats sick
And the answer to your question is a lazer alarm like in that film with catherine zeta jones and sean connery
lazer alarm, 2 big bouncers, a garage made from un penetrable metal with no door so they cant drive off.
