When my grandad died we took his old car, couldnt sell it and now its about to run out of tax, thing is we dont have a proper drive so cant declare sorn or get tax as nobody is insured on it.
We've had up for sale for ages but nobody wants it as yet.

Are there such companies that can take it away for you? Its perfect little runner with only 60k miles and my dad reckons some places might even pay, but we dont want my nan to have to open my grandads mail to find him with afine of £500 u know.

A scrappy bought my Cavalier off of me with no wheels, no engine, no front suspension and all the bits I cut off of it in the drivers seat for £25...

have a look in the classifieds in your local paper, i found 2 or 3 people advertising free collection of scrap vehicles in ours.
