saw on the news last night doncaster have 250 volunteers to go out and drive around (with community pace car stickers in the window) at the speed limit or slightly less to get people to drive at a safer speed.

just wondering what you lot think to this? i think it has its obvious advantages but what about when you get lots of cars all in a row and say its bad driving conditions,ie icy surly this spell trouble.

cant find anything about it online yet,so what do you think??

I think it'll start to cause more accidents as people try to overtake them in silly places, that and probably alot more road rage!

Fools.

THe more people believe that if everyone drove slower there would be fewer accidents they are merely proving their innability to function as rational and intelligent human beings.

Speed doesnt kill. It just makes a bad situation worse.

When will people stop believing the governments cash making schemes that have ruined lively hoods, and put stupid yellow boxes on our otherwise beautiful highways. And realise that just cos you do 1mph over the speed limit does not mean you are suddenly gunna wipe out 10 kids and spontaniously explode killing thousands.

agreed, thats how they did it in the old days.

A policeman giving u a talk face to face will have more impact than a letter saying u owe us money for breaking the speed limit
