The only real disadvantage I can think of with PAYE is that you get paid at the end of the month rather than when you do a job, so potential cash flow problems .

Job security and having a notice period are an advantage of PAYE if you need anymore.

Why not just go and have a word with your bank's small business advisor, they are there to help you through this sort of thing
