Many moons ago my Cavalier pipe snapped off at the down pipe - that was interesting, was only about half a mile from work on my way home with half an hour ahead of me.
Best one was last year after leaving the Pod though.
Launched the car off a roundabout and whooosh, massive drop in power and loads of noise - pipe sheared off at turbo mouth and I had to drive 100 miles below 3000 rpm with no exhaust at all, with both windows and the sunroof open in the freezing cold to get rid of the fumes that were filling the car.

If you felt like a twat driving about like that then just get a standard one because it will sound the same if you get an 'upgraded' one.
