i shall go to the interview, look and act interested. however, ther is quite a few people having interviews so i very much doubt il get it, but at least itl be practice for interviews

depends what position you applied for, could be working in the lab actually making the glasses or on sales.

Sales will involve booking eye tests, helping customers pick out frames that suit their needs, fitting, point of sale entry, aftercare etc...

lab technician will involve the actual making of the glasses. It's quite a hard job but you get all the training etc... every time i go there they seem like they're having a good laugh, not a very pressured working environment which is good.

well most opticians offer a 1 hour service so as you can imagine it might get busy sometimes. Gf says that most of the time her shop is dead though.

And yes you have to wear a white coat
