As a child he was my idol, I want to be a stepplejacker like him.
I was slighty upset when he died about two years ago.

I used to (still do a bit) love steam engines as my grandad worked on the railways, and the internal workings of them always interested me.

Likewise my granddad use to take me when i was small to a steam railway on weekends and i got to sit on them.
Slighty said but old things are better. I admire the egineering more.
