Do I?

I had to spray an arch recentley on my 2.0 & I just rubbed it down, gave it a few coats of primer & then sprayed with the paint. Looks OK & you can't tell the differnce.

That was carabic blue, this time its red paint.

Help! I wanna try & get it done today

no i didn't use laquer on flame red, but i noticed a small difference in colour cos obviously the original red had faded a little, but it didn't look too bad...

The whole car will be getting T-cutted anyway, hoping there wont be too much differance

If not I'll have it mopped.

Wont it fade quicker without laquer?

You should have laquered the blue, but the red can just be colour sanded flat once you have fininshed...

If you do laquer it though, leave the part in a warm room for 24 hours to cure the pait properly, then flat it out with some 1500 wet and dry using soapy water as a lubricant. Then polish it up using some cutting compound or Brasso.
