i was 18 with 1ync's and i got insured on a 106 gti for £930 TPFT

Not really rare tho, and for £2K you will be gettin an early one that are prone to gearbox and head problems; could get a 1999 or 2000 saxo for that sort of money!

I suppose mate but I got 3k but id have the gti anyday over the vts mate


ive had both mate and i would deff suggest atleast goin to look at a VTS after a Gti as there is little difference except value for money, and for £3K you can get a very nice s2 VTS and they look very good just lowered standard!

thanks for your opinion mate i will look into it, i will view a gti and a vts, but i still recon ill go for the gti before hand. cheers though

the insurance on the vts is 1 higher group i think, could prove problems
