What do Arsenal fans think of the signings? Personally I'm unsure... need to get some stop gap big players in IMO but that said, can't really fault Wenger's judgement on players...

Saw some videos of Walcott earlier - looks a tremendous player in the making... sprints past people like they weren't even moving :S

The proposed £15m seems a lot but I suppose if he turns out to be as good as say Henry or Rooney then it would be money well spent :S

Walcott looks like a good prospect

but can only see it going wrong, much like pennant for example

pennant was talked about for ages and ages, they paid alot of money (well a few mill) for him, never really got the chance to play in a team like arsenal because they allwasy had better proven players and went out on loan etc to is an avrage player in an avarage team

same can be said of wright phillips, fanatastic player, but going to one of the big 3 or 4, means they will get less games, less chance to progress etc etc

IMo great young players, are the ones that come up and play in the prem for the lesser teams

players that came through west ham for eg (lampard, cole, carrick, defoe, Johnson, ferdinand) had all plyed in the prem when they were 18-19, and playing regulaly, reason being we needed them as we had no-one else, and it worked

i cant see that hapning for walcott at arsenal

If Theo Walcott goes to French Arsenal then there goes a talented player wasted.

Absolutely pointless, he won't play, he won't score and he'll end up at Everton or someone equally sh1te in 2 or 3 years time.

I am angry about this, what with the fiasco at Ipswich today as well. Joke.

OMG I am actually very mad about it, and I don't even support Soton

He is a future talent for England, he'll go to Arsenal, play in there reserves and end up being an average player.

i cant belive what a mistake wright phillips made

last season no one could stop talking about him, now all they talk about is at what minute he was subbed, think he was very very badly advised

if he was still and man city no doubt he would be the first name on the tema sheet, and almost guarenteed a place in the world cup

what angers me more, is the fact he'll proberly go to the world cup, where as players like Konchesky, NRC and etherington dont get given the chance

If SWP had come to Arsenal (as he was destined to do!) he would be playing week in week out IMO... he was to eager to join a big club IMO... scum bastard (lol)

charlton are no better or richer than west ham, and he wouldnt go to either

bolton, dont make me laugh and i think they play shite football

Villa have the money i would have thought, and would be a decent choice,

Man city would be the best club if i havent got my west ham super football claret and blue army rose tinted glasses on
