Probably a really stupid question, but can someone explain to me the difference between buying a new backbox or a full cat back system.....
Obviously i know the cat back one goes right the way through, but are there any other differences?
Cheers

you will have a larger bore in the pipes creating less restriction for exhaust fumes in turn meaning more bhp

longer. back box is just the rear of the exhaust. cat back attaches to the rear of the cat

ah i see, so cat back should give more power but would probably bump up my insurance premium more.
Its just i want an exhaust that sounds gd but dont want it to break my neighbours windows when i start the car, like a pimped up chavalier!!

What car have you got? To be honest it's not gonna give you much bhp with a full exhaust if it's a corsa just get a back box.
