I found the same Stinga, i got burnt like a motherfucker while i was there. All my legs and feet. Lanzarote itself was ok, nothing to special though. Tenerife is better IMO

scenery is fantastic.. lots to do in the day.. bikin.. watersports.. theres a few outdoor kartin places dependin whereabouts you go as well
wen i went i stayed in club la santa so all the sports were free you gave in a token thing to hire the equipment then just got on with it.. including bikes really had a good time.. the night life was a bit limited cus only stayed in the resort thing but was still quite good
Club la Santa

went 2 years on th trot. its a nice place. def do fire mountain and you can catch the ferry to futerventura (sp) which is worth a day trip though not much there. purto del carman is the main strip in lanzarote about 3 mile strip of bars clubs and places to eat. stay away from food places such as lani's expensive for crap food. really nice restaurants in the old town though.
ben and i only went as we went went with family but wouldn't go back on our own for a long time. more of a family place to go.

as said puerto del carmen is the place, plenty of good bars. Im going in August for two weeks, £440. Thomas cook is the best place to book with online.
If you go get a car and tour the island, there are some mint remote beaches!
