My Corsa had an accident last night.. the driveshaft and the lower arm/balljoint broke on me and I lost control of my steering in a corner in a service station last night, causing me to crash into a tall curb then I managed to steer out, but my wheel had popped out, so with just a shock as support.. I was unable to drive the car away. It's not as bad as I thought it was though, and my Dad is paying for the repairs (we have already bought the new parts) so it's drivable again and I should be driving it again by tommorow hopefully.. I'm just gonna need to get a new wing and a good few other stuff.. lol!

Aye, i'm glad I didn't get hurt.. thats all that matters, but it could have been so much worse if it happened at high speed.. Very thankful.

Exact same thing happened to me and a mate in his calibra.
Luckily it happened as we were pulling out of a scrapyard, and they fixed it on site, although had it been when we were going there, it could have been alot diferent.
80mph, and country roads are not a good mix.

Parts being replaced tonight, will be on road tommorow!

Driveshaft,
Ball Joint
Bottom Arm

Got all those bits today for £50 from GMF motors in Swansea, took them back to Civic and they will be fixing the car overtonight or tommorow and I have to pay 2 hours labour, should be about £80ish..

So all in all i'm quite happy, much cheaper and less damage than I expected.
