I've been thinking about learning guitar (again) too Robbo
I have a Yamaha CG-100A from when I learned classical guitar as a kid. Dunno if it's any good but I was thinking of re-stringing it to learn a few basic chords and stuff again.

not a chance, ive played a good few of both and the modern fenders you pay for the name, epiphone you pay for the quality

i picked up a nice Frontier steel string electro acoustic for 80 quid from a shop here, on that note, are you looking to go for steel string or nylon string?
