Managerial Experience
Leadership skills
Reliability
Well Presented
Qualifications relevant to the job would be desirable, but depending on the company it might not be relevant
I doubt you will be able to get a managerial position without ANY managerial experience...
Like its been said, knowledge about your area of work, and an understanding of the industry...
Confidence, if you want to go round the agencies ... wear a suit if you are going fo a managerial job. Make sure your CV is upto scratch and well presented...

Best bet is to work at a country club etc and work your way up, building up experience as you go.

Spot on ally, to manage a place like that you will need to be a under manager for at LEAST two years before anyone would employ u as a manager
