anyone put them in the door cards?

the door cards are quite easy as long as you strengthen them

screwing a bit of mdf on the back should be enough, if your going to use the bottom part of the card

Did it in my o;d corsa, wouldn't bother with comps though just use some mid-bass drivers or some coaxils (not 6x9's).
You just need to make a MDF ring to screw into on the other side of the card. Sounded really good in my opinion, better than speakers in the shelf.

Answer this question:

When you go to a concert, which way do you face?

Put components in the same place.

You dont need rear speakers, they drag the sound stage back

you do if you want to play something other than dance music at some point lol. (if you turn sub down, and youve just got front comps running the sound is shite, you need some average speakers in the back IMO)

it all depends on if you have passengers in the back, and what you want them to be able to hear

depends on what your looking for. generally speaking sub in boot and comps up front is best set up. however, if you not playing the same music all the time, and if you have passengers, putting some good speakers in the rear is a very good idea.

Any type of music sounds better from the front to me.
Its not just about "coming from the front"
Its about timing soundstage etc.
