right, Dec 1st i picked up my new car and took out finance with black horse...i was told by the garage first payment would be 1st jan and by law its gota be 30 days before they can take payment anyways.
28th december phone call from bank sayin black horse have tried to take the money, it wasnt in my account so i went to local branch, explained what happened they said i wouldnt be charged for it...rang black horse they agreed it was there fault (plus they never send out documents confirming the finance agreement) and said they wouldnt charge me.
got home last night to find 2 letters, one off black horse sayin they tried to take the money but couldnt but wouldnt charge me, one off HSBC sayin that a charge of £30 had been taken from my account
Rang HSBC few mins ago, they said it was nothing to do with them and to speak to black horse.
Rang black horse, they said theyve taken the £30, i asked why they sent a letter sayin they werent going to and why theyve done this as they admitted to me on phone that it was their fault and they apoligised, the guy just said he cant discuss this with me and that if i want to complain it has to be done by writing wtf???

send them a real nasty letter.
Does your documents say that payments will start on the 30th if so you have got solid backing on it

Did a bank loan not appeal to you Lynny? Much easier in the long run and ALWAYS cheaper.

Best thing to do is to send a recorded delivery letter complaining and that you want the £30 back. You can never get anything done on the phone as they just keep passing you round departments.

she has been refunded

All you can do lyn is write a letter complaining about the inconvienence it caused you, that way if it happens again you've got somthing to go on
