I got my first car in july as my 17th birhtday present, very generous parents Its a 02 black 1.2 sxi, which is so far a good first car.
Xmas has come so i have about 150 to spend on ice, and since im only keeping the car for a year, dont really want to chage the HU and factory speakers. I deicded to get a amp/bass combination in the boot and have a few questions.
(I've done alot of reading around the forums and other places but still not sure on these things)
1. I have a CDR-2005, i checked the manual, but it doesnt mention any pre-outs? does it have any, and if so are they sub specific by any miracle?
2. If they are jsut pre-outs of standard sort, will it be ok to run the amp/sub of them?
3. Which one of these two packages is better all round:
Pioneer Deal
Infinity Deal
4. Will they draw enough current from factory battery to make the lights dim?
5. Can i put screws into the outside of the sub box to mount the amp on it?
6. Anything else you think i should know since this is my very first time doing this?
Any help will be appreciated

no point in the sub if your not going to upgrade anything else in the car, especially the head unit, there are ways and means to use your standard head unit to run the amp, but these work out just as expensive as replacing the headunit with a medium quality headunit with pre outs anyway
150 quid for a decent setup is not alot, your best bet would be not to bother if your keeping the car for a short whjile anyway, as the whole time cheap gear will just sound bad
hope this helps
