i have 3 pics of the snow, and cant post them as they are about 500miles huge

try the resize tool from microsofts powertoys is allow's you to resize pics on the right click whats handy. http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe
