with a wheel with an offset of 45 is there a better way of maikin them fit? my mate used to have to pull the arches out himself with a hammer n tht lol and looked quite a mess.
what is the proper way to do it?

im not wanting speedlines. originally was plannin on small facotry wheels, but jst seen tht yellow nova in the other thread and it looks mint, so iv still got my dare wheels so was thinkin tht i could use them if i can lower the car enuf

U'll have 2 have the metal lip on all 4 archs trimmed/folded inwards even with 15s dropped 50mm as i did wiv my nova. - so do this, get 17s no wider than 7 inches, keep between et49 and et45 and u should b fine.
fk coilovers for the nova go down 2 75mm max.

my mate had 17s, et45 and lowered it 60mm but it didnt look low enuf. but i doubt i can get it much lower than that so i mite jst forget the idea lol

much lower and u have probs with the front wheels hitting the top of the struts so i've heard.
slammed it 75mm on some nice 15s instead - that would look cool.

perhaps some smaller tyres on them 17s and much stiffer suspension and u could drop the front another 10/15mm looking at that pic.
looks nice tho.

it wernt nice, he bought the car,looked mint and then pulled away at the arches and they all had filler on so it kinda caved in lol.
on that yellow one what do u reckon the wheels and suspension are?

they look simialr to my dare wheels, but they arnt. both 5 spokes tho
it all depends what mood im in when i finally get a nova again, but im sure therel be something i can do to get them on

Heres my old nova on 17's,
The wheels where machined to fit in the arch better, the arches where hammered out and the coilovers where as hard as possible and it still scrubbed!

Then theres my mates old nova on 16's, that was very low with minimal arch mods,


Speedlines do look top on a nova

What issue of TV was that Nova in, infact it was'nt TV was it Cole it was in Redline or Max Power, want to look at his engine.

17's on a nova are poor. 16's are ok, 15's are by far the rim size of choice

as it used to look in 2004
total vauxhall april 2004 mate was supposed to be cover but stupid courtney brought out that vx220 with the supercharger normally can be seen with a big zippy hanging onto the cage in the back its having a full restoration now muppet colour is yo-yo yellow from vw
