£135 for some kind of Masterfit major service + £35 to have my air con sorted so it doesn't smell of wet socks when I turn it off.

Is this a reasonable price? Dodgy garages seem to charge about £60 using non-genuine parts etc.

doesn't sound too bad.

a normal garage close to me charges £120 for my car to serviced so dont take it there

I asked him about the parts prices he claims they are already being charged at Trade Club price... Don't suppose there's anyone here that works at a main dealer that can confirm this?

I tend to not believe what garages tell me...

No because I have not taken it there yet only just phoned up to enquire about the price... I booked it in for the 29th December but I can always cancel it...

Yes I am thinking of doing it myself but just buying the parts from them, they will be cheap prices anyway as it's under Trade Club.

Last time I took it to some place in Bicester but they done a shit job...

I will get them to do the air con bit though because I don't have the specialist equipment they do to check it etc.

i just got to a shop that sells "fram" merchandise, they do most service equipment

my local vauxhall is expensive, went to get an oil change in the corsa when i got it and they tried to charge me £80 plus vat for it so wendt to kwik fit and they are £15 inc vat!
