I'd just been to a City Link place to pick something up. Im not familiar with the road. I was paying attention to what I was doing but it didnt occur to me when I pulled off..............
I turned right and started driving the WRONG way up a dual carriageway.
I wondered why cars were on both sides of the roads then they started flashing. I had barely moved 5 metres out of the junction to be fair and this all happened in less than 5 seconds. The cars came past me slowly and I pulled into a driveway and turned round to carry on my way. The sign that was supposed to say it was one way, the blue sign with the left facing arrow was completely covered in road film so I couldnt see it and the other side of the carriageway was out of sight. Im quite sure im not the first person to have made the mistake on this particular stretch of road and I doubt i'll be the last but I felt such a complete knob afterwards on my way home.
Ben.

Thats the depot near Rugby isn't it. I ordered an Amplifier wiring kit from a place in Leicester (25 mins away) but it was delivered by CityLink (useless) who won't leave a parcel at my house un signed for or with a neighbour - we never have a way of getting them, so I had to go 60 mins to Rugby to get it.
Its a nightmare place well hidden away on the road badly signed. Its a pain to get in and out of.
If I have to use a company that uses City Link (Stak Trading and ebuyer) I get it sent to work now and have our receptionist sign for it
