Sorry if this has been mentioned, but just seen that Citroen, Skoda, Mitsubishi and peugeot have dropped out of the WRC leaving only Subaru and Ford?!
Is this a strike agains FIA or what? Cant find any details so wondered if someone had a clue?
Cheers

wow, subaru and ford left doing it
this may be the end of the WRC then
4 cars would not make for interesting viewing and the championship table would be somewhat bare

I dont know about the end of the WRC, but certainly the end of FIAs running of it. Surely some privateer will take over the sport and offer more for the teams?

maybe but id say its an expensive thing to keep running without being a well established organisation
itd be a shame to see it go, as its the only proper motorsport left now, after the early 90s btcc downsizing

Yeah I know what you mean, its getting a little annoying now, with all the F1 changes and the general over commercial running of it, and now WRCs down the pan!
What about all the drivers that will be left without contracts?

i remember back in the day when i used to sit on a sunday and watch the btcc with tarquini, menu, muller, cleland et al
and the wrc was far better than it has been
come to think of it, f1 was too
football is gay
thatnk the lord for motors tv though, i spent this afternoon watching the ford saloon car championship to keep me sane
