Any more than 3times in a month and you can complain i believe.....providing he has no real valid reason to stop you.....something like that anyway.

theyre not allowed to pull you over at all without a valid reason, they usually make sumthing up tho to cover there backs.

as for slagging off the coppers, i happen to think some of the coppers do a damn good job, i wouldnt fancy keeping the streets clean in the centre of some of these cities late at nite, the only gripe i have with the police is the over use of speed cameras and such

I have nothing against the police i realise they are doing their job and all but they could be a bit less sarcastic etc

I got pulled for speeding the other day. i having got anything against it as i was going too fast but the women giving me the ticket was really arogent etc saying congratulations on getting 3 points and loads of other sly little comments i mean if they want respect they really need to not act like this.

I had a good chuckle though when i looked at the ticket when i got home as she got my postcode wrong and wrote down that it was a purple nova when it is a blue corsa

Obviously couldnt read the word corsa written on the back of it
or just presumed that all young people from essex drive novas

alot of police annoy me becaue say you have a car accident and the guy says you were at fault

you call the police the first thing they ask is is anyone hurt?? (why the hell would you call the police if someone was hurt would you not call an ambulance)

if nones hurt they dont want to come out and say sort it out between yourselfs and insurance companys

to much papaer work for them

traffic cops well imo everyone ive met or been pulled by have be sound as fuck but its the police that are wannabe traffic cops that annoy me mini hitlers imo

How true is that?

Everytime i've been stopped by plod its cost me points!

Everytime i've been stopped by traffic ive had a decent conversation and then been told to take it steady and seton my way. (except last weekend when they decided to search the car but i had nothing to hide so wasnt bothered at all.)

I don't hate coppers by any means but i sure as hell hate the way the system works!

I think being arrogant is part of the job description with a lot of cops.

course they cant, imagine it court

"why did you pull x over"

"dno no reason just felt like"

wouldnt happen, would always say they were driving suspiciously or sumthing

you can be randomly stopped for breathalising. people driving on or below the speed limit gves a cop enough of a reason. young person in an expensive car, loud exhaust possible lack of insurance or lack of tax. there is always a reason.

ian teddy, i like most coppers round here, get on with most of them, i even knew the one driving, but it was the way the other one made a point of walking right up to an inch away from my face to spit in my face while he was chatting crap!

Thats why HE was an arsehole!

I dont doubt there are individuals that are on a power trip - i dont doubt it for a second, if so its your right to report it. Complains proceddures exist for a reason.

But i myself should be entering the force in the not to distant future and the first thing when dealing with a situation is the attitude test.

If you have the attitude (not saying you did of course) of a sumbag - then expect to be treated like one.

i myself believe the police get no where near enough praise for the good things they do.

We as a nation are very quick to critisize and over look the good.

The speed camera issue - well yes i agree with some of the comments made.

However i have met and know of most of her shift and there is at least 3 or 4 complete arseholes that i have met that are nob jockues, think they are in touchable, cheat on wives with kids, shag half there shift etc, etc.

if you get stopped tho as long as you are pleasent they wont get there back up
