what is the purpose of the 'Insert' key on your keyboard apart from annoy the living piss out of you? Nowt more fecking annoying than seeing half your sentence has gone as a result of a slip of the finger to this little bastard key.

Once I used an old IBM PC which didn't have a keyboard attached, it said "keyboard missing - press any key to continue"...

hmm ive always used it for when your typing a letter and you go back to correct yourself and it goes over what you have previously wrote..if you press insert it dont do that..it is handy

Yes but it only does that because you pressed insert by accident in the first place anyway
