just got the egine running right.... its a c16xe with a mantzel power box...

the old engine was a 1.2 8v....

all i can say is fcukin hell its fast!!!

i cant imagine how a 2litre has more torque.... this thing just pulls and pulls

its ten times more fun than that golf gti i drove the other night....

i was holding back cos the tracking is way out and the drivers side trackrod is siezed so have to wait till monday to get it sorted....


and the wiring needs be tidyed up...

but jesus this thing is brilliant..... and i havent started modding it yet

I would have taken the radiator and header tank out to make it easier - but then i didnt use a girly engine hoist

Nice one, bet its fast now!

without that hoist i would be lost it came in SOOOO handy for lifting the car over the engine

and yes it it very fast

I remember trading in my N reg corsa 1.2 8v for a T reg corsa 1.6, and on the way home i had a constant grin. Such a good car, wish i still had it.

i did it from a 1.4 to 1.6 (c16xe).. but didnt had a hoist (damn it).. You bought the engine with the mantzel already assembled? Need to put that mantzel.. i heard it completely changes the engine..
