Ive got loads of money to spend while im in New York over the festive and New Year period, whats the best thing to buy that I can make a good saving on? I know clothes are pretty cheap out there and they have a 75% off everything sale on boxing day but is there any other good bargains to be had?

Ben.

If you're going to New York, try and get a trip to Wood Green in. Its an outlet village, but has really good shops and is quite cheap. In New York, go to Century 21 (a huge department store near Ground Zero) as they have loads of big name clothes for not a lot of money.

Damn you Ben I really want to go to New York again! How long are you going for?

As Dan said Wood Green in is a good place to start!

I thought about an Ipod, trouble is, if they come with a charger i'll have to buy a new one when I get back here because of the voltage difference, unless they have some clever integrated circuit in them that allows use on both ranges....

If not, ive found a 20GB sony MP3 player for £99

New iPods charge from USB, so no worries there.
