Ive just brought a head unit of a friend it would be well good if it would actually play cd's it just doesnt read anything.

Any one know what might be up with it and will it cost a packet to fix?

Could try cleaning the laser - theres kits for this where u get a CD with some brushes on and some fluid to clean the laser - shouldn' t cost much from somewhere like dixons/currys

he said it was playing up but i still brough it was only a £10 so bargin if gettin it fixed dont cost much.
