if im right which im 100% sure i am the cav gsi never came with the c20 xe with the coscast head,it would have came with the later vxl built one that is know for the pourous head.
pretty sure the coscast head only came in the early mk2 16v astra gte

Its mix and match what head you get, i have a coscast on mine

some of the l reg cally turbo's had coscast heads on em.
btw, they are still as crap as thr vxl head its all just a myth. they all go pourus just the same, and porvide the same level of poor flow designs.

my 92cally turbo has a coscast corsa120's engine came from a 93 cav sri 16v with dis and that has a coscast acorsa i gotin at the mo has a coscast fitted and that came from a 90 calibra 16v so as andy says its mix n match it wasnt only astra gtes that have coscasts fitted ive evern seen a cav gsi with a 20xe

ive got spare head n all in me garage, no cams or lifter, all valves still groovy, swapped for loony modded one on the turbine engine.
£50 plus delivery if anyone wants it
